This anchor is a pre-assembled, four-piece expansion anchor, also known as a sleeve anchor. The assembly consists of:

1. The Hook Bolt: A high-tensile steel bolt featuring a precision-formed open hook instead of a standard hex head, designed for easy attachment of ropes, chains, cables, and other suspended items.
2. The Expansion Sleeve: A cylindrical steel shield with expansion slots that runs the length of the anchor.
3. The Expander Cone: A tapered nut located at the base of the anchor.
4. The Nut and Washer: A top-side nut and washer used to tighten the assembly.

Installation is achieved by inserting the entire anchor into a pre-drilled hole. As the top nut is tightened, the hook bolt draws the expander cone up into the sleeve. This action forces the expansion sleeve to flare outwards, creating a powerful 360-degree frictional grip against the walls of the base material. The Yellow Zinc Plating (YZP) provides a superior barrier against rust and corrosion compared to standard zinc finishes, making it suitable for indoor and moderately damp environments.
