Product Details and Installation

This anchor is a two-piece, pre-assembled fastener designed for rapid installation. Its name comes directly from its installation method.

  • Mechanism: The anchor consists of two components:
    1. The Anchor Body: A cylindrical, slotted sleeve made of zinc alloy or steel with a low-profile flat head.
    2. The Drive Pin: A nail-like steel pin that is pre-inserted into the anchor body.
  • Installation Process:
    1. Drill a hole of the correct diameter through the plasterboard or hollow material.
    2. Gently tap the entire anchor assembly into the hole until the head of the anchor body is flush with the wall surface.
    3. Use a hammer to drive the pin into the anchor body. Continue hammering until the head of the pin is flush with the head of the anchor body.
    4. As the pin is driven in, it forces the slotted sides of the anchor body to expand and flare out behind the plasterboard, creating a secure and permanent grip.
