Inside the anchor is a pre-installed internal expander plug. The installation is completed using a dedicated setting tool, which is inserted into the anchor and struck with a hammer. This action drives the plug upwards into the anchor’s tapered section, forcing the slotted segments to expand outwards and create a powerful 360-degree frictional lock against the walls of the drilled hole. The Yellow Zinc Plating (YZP) is a chromate conversion coating applied over zinc, providing an enhanced barrier against rust and moisture compared to standard zinc finishes. The anchor’s internal threads are precision-machined to accept standard metric bolts and threaded rods, allowing for versatile and removable fixture attachment.
